(1 of 206) 1969 Z28, JL8 optioned, stripe delete... was sold in 1977, and finally bought back in 2010... wow! Home after 33 years, with only 22,133 orig miles

 Original everything, paint, interior, hell... it's probably got 1969 air in the tires!

the second owner put it in the garage in 1982... and left it there... BARNFIND!

this is a X-33 car and was ordered with custom (deluxe) interior, fold down back seat, radio delete, headlight washers (only 116 non-RS cars were ordered with this option), and rear window defroster.

Tom sold this car in 1977, located and purchased it back in Feb. 2010.  Not only is it a 22,133 mile 1969 Z28, but it is a rare JL8 Factory Option  (Four Wheel Power Disc Brake 1 of 206) and a Stripe Delete car.  He still has the Warranty Card & Protect-O-Plate that he kept when he sold the car in 1977, not for any reason except they were not important back then and rarely did anyone ask for it when they were purchasing a car from a private party

Johnny Vegas made the most incredibly realistic looking faux patina on a 33 ford, with Cumberland paints, and they call it the Barn Find

the door jambs were still original paint, and it was in absolutely amazing condition, and a true barn find.

Johnny is pretty damn good at getting and selling barn finds, check out this 1941 Buick Estate Woodie, one of 16 known to exist... he found it and has sold it already, but it had been stored since 1958

Ferrari 250GTO out to pasture for 2decades after doing time in a high school auto shop class, donated by a former race car team owner

3589 was registered to a high school. It was donated to them by Rosebud Racing in Texas when they quit racing in 1964. IT was just an old, worn out racecar. The School kept it until 1970 in the auto shop with students just messing around with it. They then advertised it in Hemmings as a 250GT. A guy in Ohio I believe bought it with the thought of making a quick buck. That didnt pan out, so he put it out to pasture. Literally. The car sat on a trailer in a field for almost 20 years. It is now fully restored and owned by Bert Steiger in Switzerland last I heard. This car was originally raced by Mike Parkes and Innes Ireland among others.

29 miles since new... basically driven home from the dealership, and parked forever. Damn shame

Some rural mailman in WV bought this Scout new to replace his old one when it wore out. The old one never wore out so he only put 29 miles on this one. Then he died. Now it's in NATMUS, the national automotive & truck museum united states... it's right next to, or behind, the Auburn, Cord, Duesenburg museum in Auburn Indiana

you might want to skip ahead frequently, I did. But skipping every 30 seconds gets you through it a lot better... to see where it was found, the clearing they had to make for the helicopter to access it, and the extraction and transfer to a tractor trailer to get it home.

I used to own more old cars and I own a Butchery in the main street of Humansdorp.
I often drive my cars to work and park them infront of the shop.
This draws the attention of people passing by and they introduce themselves to me.
This is how I got to know one of the car friends. He used to come and show me all the cars as his brother bought it for him before he took it to a nearby farm.
When he passed away his brother came along and invited me to the farm to come and see what else he has.
This is when he showed me the Lincoln.

I have since entered into negotiations to buy the car from him as he has no interest in cars himself.
I do have trouble finding info on the car. All I have is the engine number.
I was told it was a 1926 but from cowl lights and some other pic info it looks to be earlier?
If anyone can shed more light on the model, please let us know in the comments!

Barnfind 1958 Gullwing 300SL found is rarer than most, it's one of 29 factory racecars, special alloy metal bodies, plexiglass windows

The owner of the car, Tom Wellmer, had received the new 1955 special alloy M-B gullwing coupe in New York as a graduation gift from his parents. He drove it into the 1970s until the transmission broke.

Then he put the car up on jack stands and began taking it apart. He took the wheels and hood off, the interior out and removed the transmission. And then the car just sat ... for more than 40 years.
