Tatra Snow machine for WW2

The 1942 TATRA AEROLUGE V855 , based on a TATRA T97 from 1936, was designed by Czech engineers to help the German WEHRMACHT fight the Russian army in snowy terrain (powered by an aircooled V8 3.0 litre engine).
Cute little bugger, no?
Also see http://www.classiccar.com/wordpress/2007/russian-snow-machines/ and I just (dec 09) found another article... http://clunkbucket.com/tatra-aeroluge-snowmobile/ this one describes the car, and lets us see the front of the replica at the Lane Museum http://lanemotormuseum.org/
