He became the number 1 Hudson dealer nationwide,
the largest privately held group dealership in Toyota's system,
the largest volume Pontiac dealer in the Florida town of Hollywood,
he started in business by purchasing a Sinclair gas station for $360 in 1939, and went on to amass a personal wealth that was ranked by Forbes as #562 in the world (of billionaires)and he founded "JM Family" the 18th-largest privately held company in the nation.
And he rose from humble beginnings as the child of immigrants, and overcome obstacles through hard work and determination which was recognized and for which he received the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans Award.
